  • EBGames Baulkham Hills was 2.50 for one

    • Price may vary by the state, but EB games at Morley (Western Australia) has $1.50 for one, or 4 for $5… or 24 for $30 (which I realise is not better than the 4 for $5, though I don't think they did.)

  • Are these the old, unsold, near-expired MW3 cans or what?

    • +1

They are definitely unsold, and yes they are MW3 cans. I usually have one can a day so it was a good price for me.

      • By unsold I meant left over stock from the MW3 release when they were giving them out.

Thanks OP. I am heading up to Morley tomorrow for other reasons. Will see if I have time to pick some up.

I went to Coventry Square for the first time on Sunday. Interesting….

  • Save them for the 15th; most of us will be up late.

    • Okay, I'll bite.

Why will most of us be up late on the 15th?

  • That's good as! The stock must be fairly limited?

  • Got this for free for pre-ordering Diablo 3, if anyone plans on preordering anything ask them to throw it in

    Healthy..

    • Says a guy who represents a dietry supplement company… afterall, nobody abuses those.

  • why is a game shop selling energy drinks?

    • CoD3 themed V.

    • Games are so overpriced no ones buying them any more so they're looking into expanding their product range.

Do you actually believe that or are you just wanting that?

I don't buy from eb more than twice a year, but I go into their shop a lot, and there are always people queuing to buy games there. There is more money in the retail games market than there has ever been before.

        • Whenever I go to EB there's always people buying too, more than JB and Game. I guess their high RRP prices don't turn people off.

        • Most of that money is online or via digital distribution.

Brick & mortar game retailers are losing money hand over fist; especially ever since the "pre-owned" market was effectively squashed by big publisher DRM (which of course is officially designed to combat "piracy" but in reality simple serves to stop people loaning, trading or reselling games; which used to be a huge market).

  • Shouldn't you get V cans of V?
