Circles.life 4G reliability

Hi,

I'm currently experiencing regular issues with my 4G connectivity with Circles.life on my Samsung Galaxy S21. I've followed troubleshooting steps and it still happens intermittently. I'm wondering if this is an issue related to the network itself. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with this provider?
Also do people have any recommendations for which provider to go for? After cheap 4G plans with 20-30GB of data.

Thanks

  • What mobile network do Circles.life use?

    • Circles.life uses the Optus 4G network. So if they are having a problem with reliable reception they should try a provider that uses another network.

Then Op should check the Optus mobile outage map to see if there is any major issues in their area or any known work being done on the tower. Be aware that the map is not accurate and takes about 10 people or more to complain before the map starts to indicate a problem and 24hrs later….

OP can buy a Vodafone and Telstra or MVNO SIM and try it.

I'm on an S22 and I switched to Circles from Belong about a month ago (Belong cancelled my old $10 plan despite telling me I was grandfathered in a few years ago), and I have not had any issues yet.

  • I just switched from amaysim (also on optus but don’t offer wifi calling or volte) and service is so much better. Optus have been upgrading their network and we had good 4g but bad 3G (required to make a phone call without volte
    On amaysim)

  • You won't get any assistance from the circles life customer support , they are not intererested once you are with them , big data with big issues that you don't need . I found regular issues like no internet at all , the best way to deal with a company like this is the TIO or do your head in with the so called customer support . the word needs to spread about how bad they are ,and awful they try and treat you , ACCC would be interested in the way they do business

Ended up switching the Missus to Woolies mobile, is much happier with no more connectivity issues.
