  • how would you say you compare to L'OR

    • There's only one way for OP to answer this, "IMO we are far better quality than L'OR"

  • Do these work in all nespresso machines? Also the chocolate version seems expired?

    • Not expiry dates. Just funny after dates (best before)

      • Okay I just saw the website and it says best before 03/03/2023 so probably a mistake

  • Do these retain the air tight seal like nespresso capsules or do they deflate and get ruined before best before date?

  • Sale appears to be available early for anyone interested

  • +1

Tried some of the pods and this is what I thought (for reference I drink flat white no sugar normally):

Hot chocolate - too sweet and watery (2 pods used + milk added). Doesn't taste bad but not to my taste. Does taste pretty good if you do 1 or 2 chocolate pods and 1 tazza d'oro pod in same mug and top off with lots of milk

Tazza d'oro - palatable. Does the job for a convenient morning coffee but not better than many of the l'or pods and inferior to nespresso original pods.

Decaf - not bad but very mild taste and I prefer the l'or decaf over this by a longshot

The pods are nothing like the nespresso/l'or ones in that they have the foil on the top and bottom. But it worked in my l'or sublime machine and only time will tell if the hermetic seal stays intact (the l'or pods have been trash when it comes to this for me)

All in all convenient however has been posted cheaper on ozb ($0.15/pod). I'd probably buy the tazza d'oro again but only at $0.1/pod (up to $0.15/pod at a stretch) for the convenience factor. If it doesn't go that low in price it's a good incentive to use the real espresso machine/smart grinder with the upside of less waste/damage to the environment.

    Hope it helps :)

Ps. Postage and shipping was on point with delivery within 1 to 2 days
