Segway Max G30P - Is It Gen 1 Motor or Gen2?

Hey, anyone have bought this version https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/194620783640?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mk…

I am thinking to buy one but can’t fine more details. Is this gen 1 or gen 2 motor? Is it worth the price?

That is not genuine segway DO NOT BUY IT

Here is one gen 1 global

Here is one gen 2 genuine

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Segway-Ninebot-KickScooter-MAX-G…

Which is $899 at bike scooter city

Easy to tell the difference, the colour

    I have both

I think the global black is better than but they are both superb

    • I am looking to get one any recommendations? I watched a couple of yt videos and they mentioned that Gen 1 Global is superior than gen 2, is that true?

I have found this to be true. The gen 1 has more oomph (a bit)

I also like the fact that the charger is built-in and you only have to plug & electrical lead into it rather than carry around a huge charging pack

Having said that either one will not disappoint. Just don't buy a fake

        • Thanks a lot mate :)

          • @Thedesishopper: The link to the gen 2 one was 17% off with ebay plus this week..was only $830. Don't know if its still happening (got one for my son)
Don't know if they had the gen 1 at that discount but the discounts often come up. Try gearbite on ebay too, also genuine and authorised sellers

If the item listing does not mention the brand, but only the model number it's most likely a counterfeit / copycat item.

We at 'Ai Ecosystem Perth' are the authorized service agent of Segway Ninebot in WA.
    Segway Ninebot's Max family has 4 models i.e. G30, G30P, G30L and G30LP.
P stands for 'Pro' and if a model has 'P' on it then it has a Gen 2 motor (global edition) with 30 kmh default top speed. With a firmware tweak, it can reach a speed of 35 kmh.
L stands for 'Lite' and if a model has 'L' on it then it has a smaller battery (hence lesser range of only upto 40 km) and hence a smaller foot board and is grey (and not black) in colour.
Models that don't have 'L' on them (i.e G30 & G30P) are black in colour, have a bigger battery (hence a range of upto 65 km) and a bigger foot board.
G30L & G30LP require a brick type external charger whereas in G30 & G30P, the charger is inbuilt.
The link that OP shared is not a genuine Segway scooter.

    • Hi there @aiecosystem can let me know what speed hack you use to get 35km/hr. I have g30p gen 2.

      Thanks
