The situation has now changed with confirmed bank fake receipt and bank message.
I think I am dealing with a psychotic liar perhaps even a gone girl situation.
What should I do?
I (32F) co-signed lease with a new housemate (29F). I have rented this place for 3 years and have a good relationship with the landlord.
It's only been 2 months, she has paid late on rent and utilities multiple times. In the past, she has lied about payment being sent. When I don't receive it, she brings up problem with the app or bank delays etc. I chase her multiple times
This fortnights rent has not come through to my bank account. It's been 7 days. She has provided me with multiple screenshots of the bank Osko receipt and her commbank app. I asked her to send the fortnight rent again and she declined. I have asked her to escalate and resolve the problem with Commbank multiple times. She said Commbank will provide her with written record that transfer was successful in 24-48 hours which she will provide to me.
Now, she has contacted the landlord to say she will be paying her share of rent to the landlord directly. I said no.
I told her to leave in 4 weeks. I have 4 weeks rent as bond. How should I manage this situation (e.g. utilities rent property) to ensure she doesn't do a runner? Any ideas?
how do people pay rent late when you can just set and forget the payment in internet banking
how can you kick her out if she co-signed the lease?
