Beer is fine to drink after its best before, it doesn't spoil it just changes in flavour and texture. The best before date is more like the point at which it'll probably be a lot different to the original beer, but it's not like it'll kill you.

Doesn't sound fine to me. Sounds nasty. No thanks!

I don't mean it tastes like dishwasher liquid, it's just a different taste to having a fresh leffe. Beer in general changes over time whether it's before the best before or not.

I have some leffe past the best before sitting around at home, a good 12 months past. Different notes to the flavour, a little flatter but still tastes like good beer. Part of the best before is because it also depends how you look after it. I've had mine in the fridge, if you left it sitting in the sun it should be turfed.

          • @freefall101: some beers improve with a bit of time some don’t …… spirits in full bottles don’t have dates, nor does wine , some wines get better with a bit of age, some don’t ….. wine doesn’t have best by dates on it either as people age it to their palate ……

  • Rather just go with the safe bet - Hennessy

  • Is this Macron, or is it more Le Pen?
