I think Jan 2008 expired a long time ago ;)

There is also something called a 'smartvisit card' http://www.seemelbournecard.com

The general idea is you pay a bunch of money up front for a smartvisit card, and you then use the card to get 'free entry to elegible venues' within a specific timeframe, (eg. 1day, 2 day, 3day 7day.. all of which have to be used when activitaed within the exact consecutive days)

You'd have to do some maths based on your schedule to determine if its worth the upfront costs. For some people it is, for others its not.

  You can check on EBay for the 2 for 1 passes. That's what I did when I went. It's the coupons from The Entertainment Book.
