Cheapest High Capacity (10TB+) HDD

Whats the cheapest way to get a high capacity HDD for my HTPC?
Either a HDD outright or shucking a desktop external?
Any good deals out at the moment?

Shucking is usually cheaper, unless there is a deal. Kind of hard to say until a deal rolls along. Check the front page every week or so, usually something.

As far as storage drives go, 8TB is probably the current sweet spot.

    eg. WD Blue WD80EAZZ (CMR)
    PLE
    Umart

Specs/Performance aside, you could purchase two of these for less than the cost of a single 10TB drive.

There were deals a month ago across all sorts of HDDs (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/682193)!
    Got a few Seagate 18TB Exos X18 for under $A420 each ;)
