    nice price!

  • Thanks for sharing, the reviews are little bit harsh…….

    • +3

Just 2 reviews from years ago I wouldn't worry about.

Its a bit anecdotal, but I have two of these, one on my main system and one on my server and both are still killing it 1 and 3 years later respectively

  • fantastic price!

  • Do you actually need to use afterpay to use the coupon or can you just use coupon during checkout and skip afterpay?

    • Try it and report back

    • Need to use Afterpay. If you select another payment method the code doesn't apply.

  • If I buy this, do I need to also buy a heatsink to put it in? My mother board is a ROG STRIX B250F GAMING

You shouldn't need a heatsink for an m.2 SSD, been using mine since May last year without issue.

Heatsinks for SSDs are mostly for aesthetics so that it matches the look of your motherboard. If your motherboard doesn't didn't come with one then don't worry about it

      EDIT: typo

        for most NVMe ssds*

High-end pcie 4.0 drives do get quite hot, and it's strongly recommended to use a heatsink with a fair few models.

  • I need to buy one for this laptop I bought on here a couple of weeks ago —-> https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/695378

Would you recommend this SSD or something else?

Looks like it has an extra slot for PCI-E Gen 3 M.2 so I'd say this drive is a good choice

  • Sorry for the noob question, but im doing up a HP Elitedesk G2 and need a faster drive in it - firstly, any idea if it accepts M.2 NVMe SSD's? Secondly, if it does, are you better going for this style or a traditional SSD? Thanks!

    • Have you got an exact model number for the Elitedesk? Should be able to find if it supports an M.2 in the maintenance and service guide of it

        • Looks like it does have some options for M.2 down the page. Maybe open it up to confirm? Watch a disassembly video, shouldn't be too hard anyway. For your second question, this style will have faster speeds so best to go for this (assuming it supports it).

          • @reloxation: Hmm, i opened it up and looked for a slot but cant see anything there unfortunately

            • @JuryWheel: Feel free to PM me some pictures and I can take a look for ya. Could be hidden somewhere too

  • You can get the A2500 for just a little bit more.

    • Link?

      • KC2500* It's OOS at Umart.
