Asus TUF Radeon RX 6900XT Graphics Card $1399 + $9.90 Delivery @ PCByte

250

Not the lowest price ever. But the lowest price on the Asus variant for those that despise gigabyte and their build quality.

Edit: 6950xt comes out in roughly 10 days for those that can wait. Better deals are likely on the way

when xx50 variants come out , more price drops to come IMO, then next month when the Ethereum developers meet to discuss ETH difficulty bomb, may be more cards getting sold off, prices gonna drop from here to Xmass when you also think of Intel GPU Launch, Nvidia 3000's will be produced at the time 4000's come out according to Nvidia and AMD going to do major new GPU release when 4000 RTX come out too… going to be a true GPU Christmas this year! :)

    • I think you're very likely right about a gpu Christmas.

In terms of the 6x50 cards impacting price, I'm not sure they will too much. Relevant to this deal, the 6950xt is coming in at US$1099 which with gst, will be a solid bit above this price, for honestly not much of a performance jump.

Waiting 10 days to find out is definitely a good idea, but I personally don't have my hopes too high.

My reaction to all these GPU deal:
Saw a GPU deal on ozBargain ->
Does this worth a few hundred bucks over 3070? ->
But 3060ti performs not much difference compared to 3070, do I want a 3060ti instead? ->
Do the games I play on PC require powerful GPU like this? ->
I already have switch, PS5, XSX, steam deck, do I need a GPU like this? ->
Finally realize my biggest enemy is never GPU price but time and senescence. GPU is easily affordable but dear ozBargain, please where can I buy myself some time? Can you find me a deal for time? :(

      • Looks like we ran out of time. :(

We have the same problem. There is so much to do, but so little R&R time

Everyone has the same problem. Everyone has time, but you need to prioritise where to use it. How much time do you spend on OZB buying things you dont need when you can be gaming? How much do you spend on whatsapp, FB. How much on netflix etc? If you budget time into a table and keep aside some time for things you like doing the most, you can always get time to do it. Heck if I spend more time on learning my work better (programming) instead of spending on OZB, I can earn more than I save visiting OZB. The only reason i visit OZB is to learn the Australian product catalogue as I am new to this country (here since 2 years) and I have learnt a lot. Also it's fun reading/replying to all these comments. Just a thought.

          Username checks out.

  • I would've bought this instead of the Gigabyte 6900xt posted not long ago :(

    • Sapphire is a highly reputed brand that only does AMD GPUs. If you have the room for such a cooler, I think it's a great idea.

  • "But the lowest price on the Asus variant for those that despise gigabyte and their build quality"

Genuine question - has Gigabyte's build quality gone down in the last 5 years or so?

I remember the store I worked for actually push customers towards Gigabyte because our rate of return on Asus products was much higher, and it was costing us time, money and reputation.

Particularly a lot of freezing on graphics cards and notebooks.
