Yep, both PS4 and PS5 versions went live today at 7PM. Both free to claim on PS+.
There's also a free FUT pack to claim as well if you're into that.
might see if people want to buy it off me on mp, its hard disk so shouldn't be to hard to get $15 to $20 for it
@froogletom: A copy off Fifa 22 for the PS5 sold on eBay today for $22+shipping so, you might squeeze close to that from someone on MP/GT.
As for this deal, $21 for a 20 month old game, when the latest version is free on PS+ and has been $24-$29 for months on various offers on OzB, I cannot see the value in it unless you're a collector like Hybroid.
It will be less in EB/JB within the next couple months (probably even this month since its free for PS+). I would be waiting if you are just wanting a cheap physical just for the collection.
Not too sure about that since other PS+ titles like Mortal Shell, Wreckfest, Overcooked and Ghostrunner didn't end up bargain basement on disc. Not even Godfall did!
Suppose FIFA has a sequel so maybe… have a month to return it anyway so no harm done.
Yeah the difference is there is a new one each year so they hold no value. I bought both 18 and 20 for $5 when the next year to each of them had just launched. Those games were a little more niche too. All the star wars dropped pretty low not long after being PS+. Guess would depend on how many physical discs are still in circulation too.

Not really the same thing. We are taking about a sports game, and a FIFA one at that that has annual releases. They end up clogging the discount bins with other sports games.
Does PS+ still work in the way that you can only access games that they release AFTER you join? You can't access games that have been released prior to joining?
That is correct. Unless you have previously claimed them with an active subscription prior.

Not everyone has PS+ so it's not necessarily a dumb deal
It’s also free on ea play which is $6 a month
I still haven't seen this on EA Play yet, only on EA Play Pro.
I don't see too many people being able to spend 750 on a ps5 but not spend 60 a year on ps plus.
