First time I've seen a decent brand 12GB under 1K and Amazon too. Shipping may kill the deal. Mine reads $186.08 Shipping & Import Fees Deposit to Australia. Shipping component is $24, the rest is import duties.

  It is nearly $1400, when you can find it for around $1500-$1550 at a few different Aussie retailers and they don't slog you an extra $200 in shipping/import fees.
