Man, look at that notch. They were ugly in 2017, how have they survived into 2022 on what's considered a premium phone from one of the manufactures with the biggest marketshares.
Believe it or not, the notch isn't a technical limitation, it's a marketing symbol. You could draw a silhouette and recognize an iPhone anywhere.
I see 2017 phones like the old Pixels, One Plus, LGs, Huaweis
Industry rumour says iphone 14 will come with pill & punch hole, no more notch. But only if you are willing to pay more for the pro versions. Normal 14 will still get the notch.
When people still pay 1k for these old model iphones, apples says why not make the iphone 14 2k

Got this during the week for $977, price matched Telstra Day price at Officeworks.
Poco F3 at less than 40% of Apple price. And it's a whole 6.1 inches. Fantastic value!
True but 2 years of android updates and 3 years of security updates. Apparently iphone 6S still gets new OS updates. Whether the 6S runs it in an acceptable manner and you can survive on original battery is also a question.
This is coming from an Oppo A52 user. I am tempted by iphones at the $800 - $1k mark thinking it outlasts 2 android phones.
$1 cheaper at Harvey Norman and $2 cheaper at office works. Gotta love the price beat bots at work.
