eBay Sell your next 5 items for $1 FVF offer - haven't gotten one yet all year!

For the small time sellers out there, I've been waiting for another sell your next 5 items for $1 FVF on eBay but haven't gotten one at all in 2022 (Sometime in December was my last one) - is this just me and is everyone still getting it?

Based on my emails from 2021, they seem to take a break for me in the 1st quarter of the year, and then I got the offer in April… so I was hoping it would be the same again this year; no luck yet.

If everyone else is still getting it, any tips on how I might game it to trigger them giving me the offer again?

      Oh wow I didn't know that - did they announce something about it? I wonder though surely they'll some kind of other selling promotion? Even if it's not $1 but like.. half off seller fees or something? Sheesh.

    Try selling on Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree instead. Face-to-face selling. None of the excessive fees and charges that Ebay hit you with.

      Less risk too if you are smart about it. You can do all the right things on eBay but they will still side with scammers and thieves.

        I once sold a item to someone, AusPost tracking showed that it was delivered, but the guy said he never recieved the item so… eBay made me refund him. Never again. Gumtree has been a far better experience

      I've had cases opened against me 3 times in 12 years. They have always sided with me so far.

    As speculated by some people here there will never be discounted fees like that again due to the new payments system.

      They now give out something like 250 free listings every month. To me that's more valuable than 5 $1 fvf.
