Have about $840 to Spend on a Chair, Help Me Find One

Hi, I'm looking to buy a new chair since my officeworks one is pretty bad.

I'm around 193cms tall and 80kgs (trying to bulk haha).

I'm trying to find a chair that would be the best value for money for my height and weight.

      I could do $850, I was just originally thinking of getting a secretlabs titan XL for around $840, saw that people here thought it was pretty bad.

      I got a SecretLabs Titan back in Feb 2019, gas lift has been replaced once under warranty, now second one is dropping. Chair is quite squeaky and PU leather has seen better days.

      FYI I'm pretty close to the weight limit through.

    You should be able to get a second hand Herman Millar aeron for that amount

      Agree with this. But if possible it might be worth trying one out before forking out the money for it!

      My herman miller aerons still going strong after 10years and no more sore backs and bums. Before this, I was forking out $150-200 per chair every year. It certainly paid itself off so far.

    I've been happy alternating between a Herman Millar Sayl downstairs (which I got pre-owned for $250) and a Herman Miller Mirra 2 upstairs (which I managed to snag for $850 new due to a pricing error). Personally find the Mirra 2 to be fantastic. Sayl is nice however I'm not sure I find it any more comfortable than the $300~ chairs that we use at work; although I'd wager the warranty is far more extensive on the Sayl.

    Definately a good idea to try out whichever chair you are interested in, as others have noted the Aeron is a popular option however I didn't find it to my liking.
