Craigslist is the Gumtree in the US so exactly like Gumtree scams are commonplace on Craigslist as well. Therefore the vast majority of your potential buyers would be hesitant to buy from someone that is based OS unless you/your camera is already located in the US. Perhaps try eBay and enable international shipping? I know eBay fees are nothing different to daylight robbery but both you and the buyer would at least have some safeguards in place on eBay and you would most likely get a better price due to much wider audience which would somewhat compensate the eBay fees.
Niche is where eBay actually works to be honest. You're probably more likely to get more potential buyers viewing and/or bidding than you currently are (which is zero).

There's many different ones, my friend. Our company is downsizing and we need to sell them fast. Let me know which Lens you are after. We have so many to get rid off I'm sure we will have exactly what you need. Will sell it to you for half the normal price but you will need to act fast. After you send us the payment via Western Union I will buy a yacht. Once I finish a round the world trip I will drop the lens into a nearby post shop.
Sounds too complicated can I just send cash through the post?
