Qantas - Purchase Once Off Lounge Access

Hi,

I am soon to take a Qantas flight overseas. This morning I received an email saying that I can purchase a once off lounge invitation for my respective flights.

Unfortunately when I click the click it already says I'm ineligible (not sure why as I didn't fall into the criteria listed).

As a matter of interest does anyone know how much these invitations cost? I didn't get the opportunity to see the price.

Thank you.

Can't answer you questions but you can also purchases these off classifieds here too, in case you weren't aware. Seems to be around $30-$40?

  • the above is correct. cheaper just buy here.
If you can enable pm i will send you msg. Thanks.

  • Save your money. It's not worth it.

    • Agree, had a recent experience at Melbourne T1 Qantas domestic, not worth paying a cent

      • To be fair, the international lounge is much better than your generic domestic Qantas Club.

That said the First Lounge (Mel or Syd) is where the fun is to be had. I remember a while back, we used to fly Jetstar Syd<->Mel where one of their unusual flights departed from the international terminal. For our $29 ticket, we have enjoyed the First Class lounges as QF platinums.

Given that you may have to spend many hours at international waiting it could be a harmless diversion for a small bit of money. Food and drink so expensive there you can pre load, have a shower etc.

First lounge is where it is at though. Got access once with the family and loaded up on fancy toiletries, massage, facial, Rockpool dining booking, family room to pin the kids down etc.

  • Any lounge is worth it to get away from the constant humming noise of the airport

Didn't realise it until I started going to lounges, that that sitting in that noise was a low level stress that accumulates over time

    • Yes if you have time and or can get cheap lounge its no brainier to use it.
