Are Products Sold from Kogan Marketplace Legit?

was scrolling thru Kogan and see they sell the Razer mousë Deathadder essential for $25, the seller is not Kogan, they named "Electronic Superstore" . So im wondering if these mouses are fake or real.

Honestly it's my pet hate for catch / kogan that they have this "marketplace"… Like I didn't already have ali / egay to search through China junk.

Is it legal to ship real mice?

  • Buy one and see.

    the Razer mousë Deathadder

    Is this the German edition?

  • Do it then post that you got ripped - we don’t have enough drama on the forums daily

  • Anyone knows how to see other items sold by the same seller on Kogan?

  • some past post may suggest, if you have problems with a marketplace supplier, you ain't going to support, it's not like Kogan support is any good?

  • If it sounds too good to be true…

  • It would be legit but it is certainly grey import and you will have to go through Kogan for warranty. I have purchased from same seller before, Kogan handled my warranty directly. It was a full refund for a Watch 2 Active that got faulty screen half a year after purchase.

In regards to Kogan support they all have been great for me. My Dreame V10 dust bin broke the release button this month, 15 months after delivery and 18 months after purchase (it was a pre-order that was delayed) but they still replaced it for me outside of the 12 months warranty. Replacement coming today express from Melbourne which was sent yesterday.

If anything I have free Kogan First with the Kogan credit card deal and this may have been a factor.

It would depend on the specific marketplace seller. Dodgy seller could sell fakes. Happens on Amazon, would be no different with Kogan

As I have said, I purchased twice from this seller on Kogan Marketplace before. A Watch 2 Active and Galaxy Buds+, they are both genuine but grey import. The Watch Active 2 I believe was UAE version but Samsung Pay, Blood pressure and ECG worked. The Buds+ update fine with Samsung App for iPhone and it's also UAE version.

Buds+ still going strong 18 months now while Active 2 I received refund and bought Watch 4 from Samsung Edu for a little more.

Oops, didn’t realise OP specified the marketplace seller and you were talking about that specific seller rather than just marketplace sellers in general.

          • @FireRunner: Yup, I have had dud marketplace seller on Kogan marketplace but I didn't bother to go further as it's a cheapo item (a low quality Charcoal BBQ set, not broken but just bad quality in general). What I have noted is that any item marked Kogan First, Kogan would handle warranty for me even if it's a marketplace item. Anything else would be directly with the seller.

  • I just wouldn't buy anything from Kogan or their dodgey marketplace at all.

It seems to be $35 on Amazon - that extra $10 might save a lot of headache later down the track.

  • aigh , just bought 1 and its real, razer synapse detected it
