  • I haven't used the Shopback in-store feature yet, just had a look and there's a bunch of '100% cashback capped at $5' shops. I wonder if it would stack with this deal? So spend $10 and get both $5 back…

just try.. no harm… you get one at worst and two at best

    • I think it would work if the '100% cashback capped at $5' is considered regular cashback for that outlet, because you get this deal's $5 bonus cashback in addition to the regular cashback you'll receive for purchasing at the desired In-Store outlet. So hopefully nice little $10 stack. Let us know how it went.

Yep I'll get something today and report back

        • Nice.

both $5 did track for me

only one $5 tracked atm, bought from Coco store.

was it tracked instantly for both?

    Thanks

Btw. Whats Meelo upto these days Airbender Tenzin?

      No worries, my friend.

Meelo is hanging out with your favourite- Bhumi. Somewhere up the mountains.

  • Anybody know whether this will work at a store that currently offers no cashback on Shopback? As in the store is listed on SB but they are only selling vouchers.

    • In 'How to Play', it states- "Purchases from ShopBack Gift Cards and Shopback In-Store Vouchers are not eligible for the bonus".
      Hopefully that solves the query.

      • Yeah I saw that part too but to me it reads as you cannot use in-store vouchers to purchase something at the store. Maybe I'm wrong.

  • Can someone enlighten me on how to pay in store using ShopBack? Do I open the app and make payment? I can’t see a function in the app allowing me to do this.

    • +1

No you make payment using your Visa/Mastercard but first you need to register your Visa/Mastercard on SB app. Go to Account > Add/Manage Payment Methods.

      • I think credit cards only

        • Both debit and credit work

          • @foxes28: Many months ago when this sort of SB in-store purchase deals were launched, there were some issues with purchases tracking when debit cards were used. Not sure if this issue has now been fixed, but SB’s rep (GYB) proposed a solution when using debit cards:

            • @ilovefullprice: Oh I see. I had this issue too and raised a complaint that it didn't track (ended up being honoured). I thought it was a one-off thing but doesn't seem to be the case then. SB should update their T&C because if you open the add card screen, it says debit/credit card

            • @ilovefullprice: Has anyone paid in-store using a linked debit card via Google Pay Wallet and got the $5 tracking for it?

    Thanks OP!

    • Not a problem.

  • Would this work for a cheap bottle wine liquorland?

    • think this is only the stores they have stated as "in store"…which for me is bugger all

      • Spend $5 or More on Any In-Store Transaction

When I read title bought a bottle with linked card & can report back later if actually working…

Just posting the T&Cs here for record keeping:

  • What happen when I press the boost button, what will show up? Can I use more than once at different venue?
