70”+ Very Slim TV to Hang Recommendations Budget $4k

Hi OZB community

I am looking for a tv between 70-77’’ that is slim and can hang very close to the wall.

Think “the frame” TV or similar.

However, I would not want the picture quality to be lost as a result.

In addition, I would love this to have something like the Samsung box, so the tv connects with a single cable (including power) to an external box. It just means mounting and installation is a lot easier than having to run HDMI, power, lan and other cables in the wall.

Any recommendations for tv installers in Melbourne? Do they need a sparky license if they are placing the cables behind a wall?

Do sparkies do tv installs? Or do they just come out to install the PowerPoint

    What about audio? Super slim TV's mounted very close to the wall typically need a soundbar.

          I thought having a tv that has something like the Samsung “one connect box” makes it easier.’particularly as it’s only a single cable to the TV

          The Samsung Q950 or similar seems like the best bet

    The G1 OLED comes to mind but obviously over your budget so it would be the Frame there is the 2022 model just out too

      I’ve had a look, and appears that all the inputs (hdmi, usb etc) is on the rear of the tv. Not a deal breaker, but prefer the external box set up

        Pretty sure Samsung is your only option then.
        These are the current models with oneconnect. More expected this year

          Unfortunately , the 4K versions appear to be 2021 models and seem hard to find
