Anyone bought a printer with these specs recently and recommend it? One that is good on well priced and reliable generic ink too would be a bonus. Don't need MFC.
I've looked at the Brother HL-L3230CDW and the MFC-L3750CDW. As I said, I don't need MFC but this one seems highly reviewed on OzB.
Thanks. Any reason for going beyond the L3230? More sheet tray and faster speed?
I paid $399 at Umart for the L8260, the smaller model probably wasn’t worth considering for the small difference in price.
And I can’t say I like smaller lasers, they seem to have less longevity and reliability, which is important to me.
Purchased a Brother HL-L8260CDW a few months ago to replace a similar but much older Brother.
The old printer was still working perfectly, but was getting hard to source toner cartridges and some components was near their service life so thought it was time to upgrade.
Very happy with the new model. It supports AirPrint which is great for printing directly from iPhone/iPad.
I haven’t used up the original cartridges yet, but would expect generic refills to be available from the usual suspects (eg Inkstation)
