Would anyone know the best tactic for a good rate on a last minute hotel?
Is it better to use a website like http://www.lastminute.com.au/, or maybe look for accommodation on the website then calling the hotel directly?
Also, will you get a better rate booking on the day rather than a few days in advance? Has anyone had good/bad experiences with 'secret' hotels?
I want to stay in Melbourne next Friday near docklands, but don't really care where.
