I'm chasing a company to pack up and move us from Mornington to Melbourne - does anyone have any good experience with any removal companies? We used Kent when we arrived from WA, and they were quite good, but just looking to see if anyone else can recommend a company so we can compare costs.

I used Man with a Van a few years back. They were more expensive per hour than most other companies but they did a much quicker job than expected so it wound up cheaper. Also fantastic work, nothing damaged at all and took really good care of things.
It wasn't a big move, small apartment to a townhouse and they only did the furniture, some larger items and white goods - we hired a van to do the small stuff and boxes ourselves. But they did their bit in less than 3 hours, which included their travel time and getting stuff down the elevator from our apartment building and carrying upstairs in our townhouse.
I recently used https://moves.com.au/ after a friend highly recommended them. They were cheaper than the other options, really amazing to deal with and didn't charge extra for getting to the pickup point or insurance. I think even Saturday was the same price as weekdays (don't quote me on that) They also didn't charge extra for a bigger truck.
They were a fair bit cheaper than the others I checked with and were really good on the day. They were happy for us to help to make it go quicker and were very careful with all of our belongings.
I'll be honest I would normally have written them off completely based on their dodgy looking website and the lack of google reviews - but I'm really glad I used them. They were awesome. Give them a call for a quote.
EDIT I should note we did the packing but I'm pretty sure they can do it for you as well.
We've used Kent also. Probably among the better ones.
