Thanks for the update! You may want to consider dimensions if it's built-in under countertop.

    • Apologize for less information, updated it now.

all 600mm Dishwashers are all standard size.

The freestanding ones have a cover on top but you can remove it if you wish to install in under a bench top.

      • Exactly. It would be more difficult to find a non standard size one.

      • OP didn't mention 600mm till the edit.

        • There are only 2 standard dishwasher sizes for residential homes.

The standard is 600mm, however there is a much less common 450mm.

One can assume, unless noted that it's 600mm wide.

Appliance online sell 189 models of 600mm dishwashers and only 12 models of 450mm dishwashers.

There's also countertop dishwashers, again, that's a rare type.

  • veeeeery interesting

    I'd get a Beko

    Under $600. 5 years warranty.

    • have you got one? I'm thinking of getting one

      • No, but it’s a dishwasher. Reviews are decent.

I used cheap dishwashers in Air BnB’s before and they all work pretty well. We’ll enough to ask yourself why you’ll pay double or triple for a Miele, Asko, AEG or Siemens. But I have lol as the build quality is higher, eg Cheaper dishwasher racks feel cheap and wobbly.

However for a rental, a $600 dishwasher with a 5 year manufacturer warranty is pretty bloody compelling. $120 a year for guaranteed service is good value IMO.

Sure, Miele will probably fix your 5yo $1,500 dishwasher for free under ACL, but it’s a hassle for your tenants to wait while you get a quote and then discuss with manufacturer.

        • funny thing it was a Miele that broke after 11 years

cheapest for BDF1410w i found was on JB Hi-Fi solutions for $519 + $55 delivery should be alright

I would advise against Miele fridge and freezers the handles are prone to breaking and then when you call they say it's not a design fault

          • @Poor Ass: Yeah, I don’t rate Miele fridges or microwaves. Miele cooking and washing are great. Dishwashers too (unfortunately for you only lasted 11 years), they are quiet and clean well.

The Beko and cheaper dishwashers are noisy.

My Made in Japan Mitsubishi fridge is a 10/10 for me.

Microwave, also go Japanese brand (not that they are made there).

  • I have a Euromaid and it hasn't skipped a beat in 6 years.
    $450 from harveynorman clearance outlet.

  • bought a samsung one for $450

    • link? model num?

$700 ish you can buy a Bosch
Why buy a cheap noisy dishwasher that will be hard to buy parts for? Your going to claim the cost of it on tax anyway, it’s a false economy buying super cheap appliances only have them break again in a few years.

    • Any specific Bosch model do you recommend in that 700 range?

      • SMS40E08AU

  • resurrecting an old thread. I'm on the hunt for a dishwasher.

Prices seem to have gone up substantially in the last 2 months…

    Any recommendations, up to 6-700

  • Have a look on Facebook Marketplace for new dishwashers in box. They're often for sale from people that were given them for, "free" with their newly built homes.
