It does not. EGS does have a couple of Mac games but I think they gave up on it.

      • Noted with thanks! Glad I have a PC~ But I guess my sis will miss out~

  • Fantastic games thanks OP , time for some nostalgic play through

  • +1

Was literally going to purchase this the other day. Thanks OP.

  • Love those games. Finished them all long time ago, but still nice to have a copy for Epic games store.

  • Should I play Bioshock 2 before playing the Infinite?

Somewhat enjoyed playing the BS1 but got distracted from paying BS2..

    • +4

Infinite is fine to play out of order

    • +2

It doesn’t really matter storywise but I personally prefer to go in order though 1, 2, Minerva’s den, Infinite, Infinite DLC

The second game improves a lot on the gameplay of the original

    • +1

just skip to BSI, 2 was a filler

    • +1

it all depends. personally I never was a big fan of BS1 or BS2, but I absolutely love BSI and that's the only one that I played till the end, multiple times, too

such an eye candy, especially if you got a good screen

  • might have to install the epic launcher if they give enough free games lol

this game is definitely worth a playthrough, and now i can actually run it at max settings lol

    • +3

Just FYI you can add these games to your library through your phone web browser if you are logged in. There was about a year where I didn't have epic installed but I was still redeeming the games each week

      • +1

yeh i added it already, got 2 games now will keep grinding

Really bad, can not vote more on this crazy deal, vote 100+ if I can!
I have owned all these 3 games on steam, they are worth every cent I spent!

Hi, Steam, you definitely need to do something to stop EPIC! As a loyal steam gamer, my best interest now is waiting for the mystery EPIC freebies, I am really sick now!

    • It was really interesting reading the Epic financial data from their Apple lawsuit. They actually put in there two sets of numbers, one estimate based on Valve doing nothing and one based on Valve responding in a similar way, showing they'd gain far less market share. Valve seems to be happy doing nothing though.

Anyway, I'm hoping for the Mafia trilogy remastered next (or maybe the 4th game, Civ VI next maybe?). Last two games have both been made by 2K and they have a really close relationship with Epic. It could be all 4 games come from there and I'd be happy with that.

Just so long as they don't dump a shitty NBA game on us or something!

look forward to playing this again, Infinite one of my favourites

  • for those who want to refund their steam version: the epic ones only include the remastered games. Steam one actually included the original Bio1 and 2 as well.

    • Do you know if "Epic's edition" has all the DLC's that are included with the one from Steam?

I'm on a Mac (Windows laptop has been pushed back to a mid-July ship date) and can't install to find out.

      Thanks.

      • pretty sure the 'remastered' editions have the dlcs included. you can claim it on epic's webpage, no need to download the epic app.

  • Awesome. I was thinking I'd replay this sometime soon.

Wonder if anyone has issues playing these with a 34" ultrawide?

    • This is the recent remaster, but they still left out official ultrawide support unless it was added later.

    • I just fired it up. Just picked up the radio and haven't left the starting pod but it is running on my 34" ultrawide. Wasn't without troubles though. It wouldn't run at first but I closed all overlays etc and some other programs. I even had to disable fullscreen optimisation on BioshockHD.exe to get the brightness level working.

That said, it is running. I couldn't get it running on Steam. Not sure if I did all this to get it going but I'm not going to install it again through Steam just to check. I've read many complaints about the remaster crashing a lot. I was hoping it could be different on Epic. So far so good I guess.

  • Playing through Bioshock 1 was one of my top gaming experiences on Xbox360.

Have Infinite on my PC but not being a big PC gamer I never finished it - did look great.

  • +1

Infinite is a great starting point.
Never got through BS1 cause it was too creepy & I was too young

  • +2

Would you kindly… add this game to your library ;)

Love the Bioshock series and finished it a few times already.
The DLCs are great yet has a twisted story in Bioshock style.

Welcome to the circus of values!

  • I had a bug last year when trying to play bioshock 2 on my ultrawide, with the HUD. I hope 🤞 this works better.

have fond memories for all three, some of the best fps games around and they don't make 'em like this anymore.

Anyone over 40 years old here? I'm big fan of FPS PC games and started PC gaming since the DOS era, Doom series, Heretic and Quake, follow by Serious Sams, COD series. I always able to complete them even without cheat or tips. When I was around 30 years old I'm more comfortable playing multiplayer games like CS or open-ended games like Morrowind, Skyrim or FarCry. It is so difficult to complete games like Death Space 2 and Bioshock, I just don't have the energy to complete them and I almost quit. When Doom 4 came out (since I am a big fan of Doom), I spent 1 month to complete the game and I stopped playing anymore.

    • Early to mid 30s here.. And I struggle to complete any game now. I have the best intentions to start but end up just sitting there watching tv/netflix/YouTube lol

    • Just finished Bioshock 2 - took less than 10 hours. I needed to google some explanation on the ending though :)
