Just a note that the remote control unit has a little knob that allows you to reduce the max speed. Works well when handing it to someone (like myself!) who is not experienced with the fine touches on the steering required at high speeds.
As you said it's a great car for general bashing around and fun with the kids. It's not indestructible, but it's pretty sturdy.
Yep agree, even with that though you'd need to supervise the whole time to ensure they don't turn it up then smash someone/thing. That being said, this car would be great to learn a bit about RCs etc, and will give you enough runway that you won't be wanting to upgrade after the weekend (like what would likely happen with a Kmart type RC car)

Have had one of these. Great fun, very durable. Perfect for having a bash around the yard, with the kids, have the dog chase it. Not suitable for young young kids as it is quick, probably 40km/h, but can turn it down for older kids. If you're a hardcore RC enthusiast this won't be for you (unless you want a basher), but for the average Joe that thinks "a quick RC car would be fun but I don't want to dive deep into the hobby", this will be a great start. Anything that breaks will probably need to be shipped from China (AliExpress, Banggood) but not too much should break, they're pretty hardy little buggers.
