Need Help Finding a Good Quality Folding Mattress for Guests

Hey OzB - thought I’d check here. Looking for a foldable mattress solution I can store away for when guests (interstate) stay with us for a couple nights.

We live in an apartment so no chance for a full second bed. What are your best solutions?

What I’ve found online searching for foldable mattresses isn’t that inspiring - limited choice etc

Black wolf self inflating mattress $195.97 https://www.tentworld.com.au/buy-sale/blackwolf-hexatherm-si…

Bought one myself a couple months ago, slept on it three times and I am very happy with it.

    • Nice… we have a $50 air mattress that is honestly painful to sleep on (we feel bad putting guests on it).

How do you find this for comfort in comparison to like a futon or other air mattresses? Quite a bit better?

I have not tried any other air mattresses and went straight to the black wolf sim based on reviews on youtube (snowys channel, etc.).

For me, I found that it is as comfy as sleeping on my own bed really. I would be happy to be your guest and sleep on this mattress lol.

I cannot comment on the longevity of the product tho, since I only owned it for 2+ months.

We bought the SLÄKT - foldable mattress from IKEA during lockdown for the kids and it's quite comfy. Friends have the Fantastic Furniture version as it has a double option so good for 2 people.

Legends - thanks all! I must’ve used terrible keywords in search. Lots to look through.
