ShopBack and Preorders

I want to buy the new Canon R7 via Camera House. The camera is available for preorder. I believe Camera House will charge me straight away.

If I purchase this camera for preorder via ShopBack, will it be eligible for cashback?

I read somewhere else in the forum that preorders are okay provided they ship within 60 days of ordering.

Release date for the R7 is a bit up in the air - JB Hi-Fi is saying 30 June, Amazon 31 July. In any case, I’ll have zero control over when it ships.

I’m afraid I can’t help too much with the Shopback question, but just to say it looks like a seriously exciting camera. I figure you’re pretty sold on it if you’re pre-ordering. Do you have any information about its dynamic range and ISO performance? (I’m coming form a 7dii - so I’m aware of the limitations Canon APS-C sensors have had in this regard).

  It does look exciting! I’m coming from an eight year old 70D, so what I’m most excited about is the seriously awesome autofocus.
  
  I expect ISO performance to be solid, but there hasn’t been much written about it yet. The previews I watched said that ISO 4000 looked good on jpegs with not a lot of noise, so that’s sounding promising.
  
  I’m afraid I haven’t got any info re dynamic range. It’s not something I’ve really looked into. It’s bound to be worlds better than my 70D.
  
  I’m keen for the preorder to take advantage of the Canon bonus offer (battery or adaptor).
