Saw a bunch of new porcelain kitchenwares at Vinnies Malvern, brand new. There's plates, bowls, entree bowls, teapots, baking dishes (for lasagna?), serving platters. Heavy duty, plain white, reminds me of the stuff resturants and church uses.

  Out of my area but begs the question. If one is not needy is it better to shop at Vinnies for the procelain (thus giving them cash which they can use for the poor) or better to leave the porcelain for a needy family to buy?

    The shop would say the prior as they have targets to hit. Plus they do do after hours shopping for those in need - but only if they ask, not sure if it's through agencies or something.

    Think most people in need just buy kmart.
