  • Hmmmm only 150mb/s.

Samsung Duo can do up to 400…

Dunno if it's worth $40 for such a high capacity drive to be so slow.

  • Can this be used to move files from pc to ipad pro m1?

    • +1

Photos yes. Don’t think iPad let’s you move arbitrary files.
But you could use Dropbox or iCloud for that.

Pretty sure you can just plug it into iTunes or Finder and drag the files over.

      • Yeah i already use Dropbox and wechat and tbh its probably fine unless I go somewhere with literally zero reception

    • I have an ipad pro (not m1) and I often copy movie files from PC to ipad using this drive. Once connected it will show up in the files app on the ipad. From there you can copy it to app folders (in my case VLC player for iPad). Copying is a bit slow and sometimes it feels like the files app is stuck, but will work eventually.

      • nice, thats what i wanted to do to - but is it possible to just play it straight from usb without copying to ipad first?

        • if you try open a .mkv file which is on a USB drive, directly from files app, an option to open it using VLC player will be displayed. On my ipad this works OK for small files (Some MBs in size) but not a good for big movie files. M1 chip might do a better job.

  • Can I Play a PC game on this?

  • Damn $16.75 was a good buy from the deal way back.
