  • I almost bought the 13 port but the reviews on both of these has put me off. It's a shame, this would have been a nice upgrade from my current unit.

Edit: decided to take a chance on it. I can finally exercise some of that famous Amazon customer service for the first time ever, if it causes me grief.

    • Same for me. I'm looking for a dongle that supports 2x HDMI and the only one of these that offers that is the 13 port one.
I guess i'm not using for 4K so might be OK, but not sure if i want to risk it.

      • +1

It arrives tomorrow, I'll give my thoughts on it here.

      • Ok so a day of using it connected to a 3440x1440p screen on HDMI. I get intermittent screen flickering, it's not the end of the world but my $12 adapter from 3 years ago doesn't flicker at all. I have a new display port cable arriving in the mail in a few days I'll see if I have the same problem if so I'll return it.

other than the the USB and ethernet ports all work. I don't have a PD adapter to test power delivery, I should get one soon.

        • Thanks mate. I have the same resolution screens, so i might skip it.
I also have a $20 adapter which works for now, but I want a passthrough all in 1 solution. This might not be it.

  • Been using the 12-in-one since February and it works great. Bought it to hook up 2 extra 2k 27" monitors and yes it works in tandem with the laptop screen and an another 2k monitor (direct into the laptop) for 4 screens total.
Also run peripherals - headset, mouse, kb without issues, and occasionally ethernet and was using pass thru power, whilst the power works its capped at 60W which is under spec for my laptop but it did keep it charged.
Not had any glitches or issues so far.

    • 4 screens?

      • +1

For work yeah 4 screens - the more the better :). The laptops screen + 1 via laptop HDMI + the other 2 via this USB hub.

        • oh i see you also have a video output from the laptop direct. amazing!
I was picturing my macbook air with no video outs - hence my interest in this item

  • Should I wait till tomorrow 12% cashback?
Rep - any hint on available quantity and time for this deal?

  • Beware..Only 4k@30Hz, others have 4k@60Hz.

    • The 13 port in this listing has 4k60 on hdmi 1 and the display port.

      • One of the three hubs, one.

  • I don't need HDMI, just ethernet/usb and SD card. Any recommendations?
