    mid June

    Sincerely hope you mean mid June 2023 and not mid June aka in a fortnight's time …

    • Actually something kinda came up so yeah I was thinking this June! 🤯

      • Well no wonder your flights are $10K.

        Good luck. You should have booked flights ages ago. Might have to settle for Queensland instead.

        • Something came up and I couldn't plan properly 😪

    To clear up any confusion:

    MUN = Maturin Venezuela
    MUC = Munich

    "Europe", I assume you mean Munich?

    fly Scoot to Berlin or Athens and then make your way with bus/budget airline respectively. Won't get cheaper than that, and possibly only good option for somewhat tolerable price this late.

      Thank you. How much you reckon Scoot will cost? Thinking can't bring much luggage right?

        its just a google search away but:
        $1870 for MEL -> ATH on 10/06 returning 12/07. Berlin another $700 more. And full service airlines nearer to $3k
        Just budget airline from there. 2 pieces 10kg (pay for more)
        $300 for Athens to Munich (return)
        If planning to travel around the continent then travel light and maximise use of cheap airlines.
        CabinMax brand is great for bags that suit EU rules for Cabin and can fit heaps (I have one).
        Got so many cheap flights all across and could get 2 weeks of clothes in it.

    Go here and do a comparison of the available flights and their airline(s):

    https://www.skyscanner.com.au/

    Book direct with the airline if you can get the same price or similar.

    • Wow appreciate 😍

    Mate you'll be lucky to find any decently priced flights one a few weeks away. Try Sky Scanner website. But yeah you need to book a minimum 6 months in advance. I'm going in September 2023 and I'll be buying my flights 1 year before to take advantage of the cheapest tickets. Lufthansa are doing return business class from Perth for 6000-6800, same as Singapore.

    • Something with fam came up.

    Just after reading this post I came across this article from Matt Graham at the Australian Frequent Flyer website and thought it may be useful to you, especially if you wanted to expand your trip . https://www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au/great-value-round…

    If you can get into BKK, HKT, SIN, CGK or some other south east asian ports, you can get return flights to many European destinations (MXP, FCO, LHR, MAN, CDG, MAD etc for $900-$1,200 return with the likes of Emirates and Qatar. You might be able to get a Scoot flight for $800-$1,000 now. Try Google flights explore.

    • Thank you - appreciate.
