This is dope! Use it with my mates when we go hooning up Lithgow through Bells Line of Road, or Nasho Runs or down Kangaroo Valley.

  • Thanks OP gonna price match at my local AMX

  • Wonder if I upgrade from my older Sena 20s

    Or the Cardo packtalk slim

    • Packtalk slim is better. Its available for around $360 frequently on amazon, its currently $400.

      • I paid $376 for the packtalk slim.

  • These https://youtu.be/f5WLmUHzbMw are surprisingly good. Not quite as good speakers as the Cardo, but great value for money

  • The newer freecom 4x off Amazon is $315. No Local warranty.

  • Check out lexin B4FM-X. Can have up to 10 people intercom group chat. Only around $100 from Aliexpress

I bought a Freecomm4+ second-hand. The sound is fantastic and the voice control is a great feature. Next track. Volume down. Answer phone. etc. The intercom range is somewhat disappointing - line of sight or one to two corners max. Maaaybe 0.5km in a flat desert. In a populated area I get a better connection with a regular mobile. You can even use a Discord voice server for multiple riders. Intercom pairing time is slow compared to Sena.

If you want to go really lo-fi get an in-helmet bluetooth boom mike and speaker combo for $20. The music is crap, but the mic is amazing - Can't tell you're on a bike at all. Otherwise the $60 black and orange model is a good choice.

Multi-rider connection is possible, but it works on daisy chain principal. If any of the riders get more than 100m apart the chain breaks. Any more than 2-3 riders is impractical. If you want group chat I strongly recommend a mesh unit like the pactalk.

      Hope that's helpful.
