Looks to be a huge Indie game sale building momentum that's due to start on the 24th of May. Almost all App stores seem to be involved, so you're sure to own a device or two that will be supported.
There's too many games to individually list here and games are still being added as we speak, so check out the linked site. It's sure looking like its set to be a great sale already!
Go on, pick up one of these games during the promotion and support those hardworking, 2 minute noodle eating Indie devs!
"We believe that developers should have the freedom to price their games how they like, without interference from the online stores that sell the games," the group states on its new Because We May website. "Why? Because it allows us to promote our games more freely, as we are doing here! We rely on the ability to promote our games for our livelihood and control over pricing is an important tool for this purpose."
In celebration of the online retailers that do give developers control over pricing, Because We May is launching a massive sale on The App Store, Google Play, and, most relevant to you, dear reader, Steam. From May 24 to June 1, 46 indies, including Frozen Synapse, Deathspank, Super Meat Boy, The Binding of Isaac, Vessel, and many, many more will be deeply discounted.
From my limited understanding, it seems the devs are having a crack a the Amazon App Store, anyone know more details?
Looks pretty sweet, but I've got many of these games on steam already. Might buy some on iOS though, need some to kill time with sometimes :)
