  • Awesome movie…All languages added.

    • are you serious?

      • do u want me to be?

  • +60

Understand your excitement, but it's not relevant here. New movies much bigger than KGF get added to several platforms everyday

    • +7

True, looks like we need one more tab added to Ozbargain related to the OTT stuff. Could be very helpful to be aware of what's being added etc.

    • +5

Fortunately they have now made it incredibly easy to opt out, or hide, these from either the main page, new section, or both.

    • -8

This is not relevant to ozb everyone giving a plus spare a thought.
It's not about showing how popular Indian movies are or how many enjoy the content.

  • +14

    What is the bargain?

    • +4

So you can see violence 🤣🤣🤣

      • +3

“Violence..Violence..Violence! I don’t like it. I avoid, but, violence likes me!”

        • Sound like you watched the trailer like me.

  • +2

Yes, it was added on Friday. Awesome movie but no deal

  • +8

If you say this movie is awesome , wait for the movie VIKRAM to come in OTT

Quentin Tarantino Would be proud to see an Indian movie to be right upto his films

    • Its trailer looks pretty average. Cannot compare with kgf.

      • +3

Mate! A hard core indian fan took me to the movie today. Must admit, Vikram is son of a gun!

    • How many closeups of feet are in it? Quentin wants to know.

  • +4

BRB making a deal on The Boys Season 2 dropping on prime last week.

    • +14

      it's season 3 ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

      • +1

New season is awesome, not a fan of how they’re releasing it weekly but I can see why they did it

        • Keeps people talking about it longer. Now opportunity for new viewers to pickup the show. Netflix cancels everything after season 2 as the overall viewer number decreases by season 3.

    • +6

It's worth mentioning imo. The Boys has more excitement than all of the MCU combined.

    • -1

go sit in a forum all on your own ya racist - PEDO ZERO

  • +6

    Forum material at best.

  • +3

This movie reminds me when Martin Scorsese said Cinema is dying. Unpopular opinion but this movie is terrible.

    • -7

      Scorsese is a schmuck

    • +2

yeah hated Sanjay Dutt in this movie, all he did was argghghghg

  • +10

Spam!!!, seriously it was a terribly over hyped movie. Entire movie was about protagonist giving different poses with background noises and 2 guys shouting at each other.
Also new movies gets added every day to amazon prime / Netflix

  • Kgf 2 is nice … But not a deal to post

  • +8

Such a crap movie. Everything is sped up so much that not a single scene is allowed to be played out properly(the editor is an (profanity)). Whether the fight sequences or the dialogues between the characters, there is no immersive experience. Even if the movie got stretched to 4 hrs from its current 2 hr 45 min, this could have been a much better movie experience imho.

  • No Bollywood dancing???

  • +1

    Not a deal mate,
Imagine what would happen to Ozbargain,
if we all promote the big movies on stream services.

  • +3

I love how these always say

Users who wish to Block "Additions to Streaming Services" can do so by clicking on the Streaming Service Addition tag, then clicking the 3 dot menu, then clicking hide on new deals and/or front page.

Perhaps this should be blocked by default, I don't think any other type of deal ever has to be so defensive immediately and I remember seeing negative votes so incredibly rarely but they're all over these crappy announcements….

    • I think they need a totally separate area to list notable streaming additions. All of James Bond being added to prime is rather noteworthy, addition of this rather average Indian movie not so much.

  • +1

    3 Hours of nonsense

  • +1

lol…how is this a deal? contents get added and removed… Imagine someone creating a post last week that "STRANGER THINGS IS OUT ON NETFLIX"

  • +1

Why the hell people posting movies on OZB. Before it was Disney+ now Amazon Prime, wait little bit more and people will start doing Netflix, Stan, Paramount+, Stan, Shedder, Beige so on. There’s no deal here. Post these stuff in forms.

  • Too many Karen comments here.

A hardcore fan of RRR movie and KGF movies.
I believe everyone should watch them now that they are available online.

    • +6

I am very fond of quantum mechanics. I think i should slap a free book here and tell everyone how important is it for everyone to read it.

    • +1

KGF represents the worst aspects of Indian cinema. RRR represents the best aspects. Please don't put those two movies in the same sentence.

      • Yeah, I might lean more towards RRR than KGF 2 too.

  • Oh .

  • No Deal!

  • +4

Such a terrible movie. Overhyped material

    No Deal

  • Great movie or not, doesn't deserve a whole post for a movie to be available.

  • This is not a bargain

  • +3

My IQ dropped 10 points after watching KGF

  • Saw KGF 1 .. what a garbage movie. Hard pass.

  • How is this a deal?

  • Not a deal. Just rotation of the content on a streaming service.

  • -6

Indian movies barf. I wish streaming services had a filter option so I never need to see them.

Also how is this a deal? It's not, negged.

    • many say the same about your face

  • +8

    What's the original price OP?
    how much do we save?

    • -3

      • +2

dunno man. Next we'll start having to scroll through "New episodes of The Simpsons on Disney Plus"
and all sorts of random garbage. It's becoming bad enough with some of the BS that gets posted here already.

Genuinely, thanks for the instructions though. didn't know I could do that 😊 (I didn't comment neg u btw)

  • Not worth the post!

  • Useless crap movie. Unrealistic action. Unreal storyline. Not worth investing time & money.

  • Reduction in price unspecified. Also, simply no.

  • +4

This is such an average movie, the story concept is good, but the execution and pace of the narrative was trash. This is a movie that makes you question why you're watching it. This is a movie that's less than 3 hours long but feels like a 4 hour movie, you feel mentally tired after watching it, the pacing and narration is atrocious. It's like someone cropped together the fight scenes of a typical mainstream anime so it's just non-stop, incomprehensible fights one after the other. After watching KGF you feel absolutely disrespected that the Director thought he could get away with such rubbish.

For those of you who want a far more positive/pleasing introduction to Indian Cinema, I highly recommend RRR, which has been released on Netflix (Hindi version). This is a movie that is just over 3 hours but feels like a 2 hour movie. You feel genuinely entertained after watching and there's a musical routine in the credits as a 'Thank You' from the Director to the audience for watching his creation.

    • +2

RRR was made with a budget of 550 crores with a big list of stars in the industry and by an acclaimed director. The director of KGF had only directed three other movies in the past and was made on a budget of 100 crores and almost came to the box office collections that RRR made. I honestly didn't find the action scenes in RRR entertaining at all. I personally found KGF better

      • +1

Yea I cannot deny the box office collections of KGF, and it's good to see a relatively unknown director (before KGF) come to the spotlight. But I guess I was extremely disappointed from all the hype that was generated with people saying how good it was. For me personally, I found KGF to be a movie that I would not spend money to watch in the theatres (and I didn't), as it was not as much of a visual spectacle one expects from Rajamouli's movies. For me it's a one off watch.

    • If RRR is better than this movie than its a hard pass from me. RRR was the worst movie I have come across. I watched the first half an hour or so and couldn't believe people recommend it.

  • +1

    Saved $0

  • +1

If you want a good action movie that probably most people have not watched already, go and watch 2012's Dredd starring Karl Urban.

  • -6

I guess the IT and Food Delivery industry have found ozbargain

    • Racist spotted.

  • +1

Kickass torrents is full of this trash and now my beloved OzBargains is as well… sigh

  • +5

Not sure if its just me. If noticed a significant pushback when people post these kind of movies and it happens to be a non-english post (predominantly indian) vs say a similar post for the Dr Strange post a few days back. The latter has more than 300 plus with no negs already.

IMHO I think all posts regardless of language to be moved to separate section having said that comments on this post seems to be targeted

    • +1

It's not just you, there is an awful lot of racists on ozbargain that pop up enmasse every time a deal like this gets posted.
With a sprinkling of racist and misogynist comments throughout many other deals, with a notable recurrence of barely veiled rape/sexual assault comments, nearly always aimed at women.

  • +2

    Where is the deal?

  • +4

I had some of my Indian friends swear by it that this was the greatest movie ever. Not being a Bollywood fan, I was very skeptical, but I decided to watch some YouTube clips of the movie anyway. What an absolute cringe-fest! How people like these cringey, non-sensical movies (mostly out of India) will always remain beyond me.

    • +1

Watch RRR on Netflix. Western reviewers have given positive reviewers to RRR.

      • +2

        Thanks, but no thanks :)

      • RRR is 10 times more cringey :)

  • +1

    I don't speak Hindi soz

  • Not exactly a bargain

    • oops i meant to make it a neg..

  • +1

    … does not belong here.

  • Wow looks like the success of a south Indian movie is triggering a few other Indians.

    • Lol

    • Haha, a bad movie is bad, whether is made in East West North South, India Aus or USA :D

  • Movie nahi bawasir banaya hai.

  • -1

    A crap movie!
