      Yes,just updated

  • I wonder what is the price?

    • +2

Probably more than what you can get it for on aliexpress

  • does it work with Garmin Connect?

    • Yes, it does

  • I bought a Cycplus M1 from this deal
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/699957
and looks to be from the same factory despite a different brand. The screen is 2.8 inches but $10 more if you prefer a larger screen.

GPS only means (I think) that the max speed it reports might be "a bit high" if you are riding in central city streets with tall buildings around.
The bounce and echo effect off them can mean that the position changes by a block (as a 'timewarp jump') then jumps back again. (at least with any GPS device I've used - YMMV)

looks like my xoss bike computer ….if it is then it works great for the money ….. gps speed so no need for transponder or wires….. the screen is just plastic and i have slight inflection from storage in bag ….it’s micro usb though not usb c …… so is an extra cable to not loose….they also sell cadence sensors …..

  • New road cyclist here - Any difference between this and what the Strava app features (apart from the maps and social connectivity)?

    • +1

A big advantage of a bike computer is that it's always there (like a dashboard) to display your speed and/or cadence.

More robust than a phone in battery life and never get app freeze etc.

You can also use it as a backup recorder in case your Strava app crashes.

yep, i commute to work and the beauty of the simpler bike computer vs one that has maps, etc, is that it’s water proof, always ready to go. i read the speed to see how i’m going both from a get to work on time and also fitness, i also have heart rate monitor watch. don’t have cadence sensor but and thinking of buying one.

don’t use my phone incase bike falls over, it’s not waterproof and don’t want to drain phone battery, flat dedicated bike computer isn’t a problem, flat mobile is more of a problem.

had thought of getting a cheap mobile phone at one stage as a computer but size and not waterproof was a turn off.

you can download data from the xoss if you wish to a phone and cloud apps but i travel same routes so it’s speed cadence and heart rate vs time , and head wind impacts things also with heart rate up same speed same cadence.

  • Looking for something around this price but not for one that is held on with rubber bands. Want a secure bracket connector and probably a bigger screen.

    • The bands are not rubber, and do not perish. But you can also use cable-ties if you prefer.

      • I didn't say they did perish. I want bracket support like I've always had with cycle computers. Support bands like these or any other such rubbish like zip ties are (and look) cheap and nasty.

        • You mean clamp-on brackets, as normally used for heavier items like lights?
On handlebars, I find them bulky and ugly for a small bike computer, compared to the simple elegance of the band-mount.

Are you worried it will move around? It is quite big, compared to the old Cateye types.

  • Hey OP do you have online login area to also track / find the Speedometer?

  • support ANT+ Bluetooth 5.0 transmission

Does this mean it supports both bluetooth and ant+ sensors?
