My official elite strap cracked as I lifted it off a bench, had the battery too. Did like the counterweight side if it more than the battery life. If anything that caused issues as the wife left them plugged in all the time after use causing both to flatten.
Thoughts on these?
Am I the only one who thought stock strap was actually adequate?
Probably. It works fine for light use.
Not so good for workout or more intense games.

If it's just you using it and for light use its fine.
My problem is both my wife and i use our quest 2. and we both have different sized heads, so always having to re-adjust the stock one to fit our different head sizes was making the thing wear away fast.
Switched to this exact kiwi design and now its just a matter of twisting the knob to make it fit us, definitely feels more robust and also much more comfy
Just wanted to say i have this exact model. If you bring your quest 2 to decent use then this is a no brainer, its perfect. Easy to adjust, snug comfy fit, and the headset doesn't bounce around.
would highly recommend the strap to anybody that uses the quest 2 for workout or heavier use.
I also have the Kiwi strap and it's great. Very comfy and adjustable and they claim it doesn't snap like the official elite strap does.
