Help Needed Regarding Vodafone Sim Connectivity and Call Quality

Hi,

I want to know if somebody is using vodafone sim, what are your views about the connectivity status and call quality?

The area where I live in NSW, it shows as 5G connectivity is available all the time and call connectivity is good according to their website. I have heard from friends that the call quality isn't that great despite it showing full signals.

Currently I'm using Coles mobile service and wanting to switch to vodafone.

    Grab a cheap vodafone sim from Coles or Woolies and try it as Vodafone is good around me when I did some Telco testing, but it sucked in the country as expected. It will vary.

    Is your current network Optus? If so then when you are at Coles or Woolies grab a cheap belong sim and try it as well.

    Absolutely no problems with Vodafone. I live in Southern Highlands NSW, travel to Hurstville and the Blue Mountain for work. Never have any issues.

    I was the same as you, was worried about moving from Telstra. Turns out the service I received in store, live chat and phone has far exceeded the service provided by Telstra.

    I have the $80 plan (reduced to $65) with unlimited data and currently overseas with unlimited data for $5/day.

    I honestly don’t understand all these reviews talking about call quality.

    • Coles is an Optus MVNO, NOT Telstra.

            @AndyC1: I was referring to the situation of hesitating to move from my operator (regardless of the operator). I don’t think that is relevant to the OP’s question regardless. But if you are bored we can keep debating my choice of wording if you want…

    Used it for a couple of years with Kogan. Never had a single issue with call quality and data speed was consistently better than Optus and Telstra (tested with work colleagues and wife).
