    Most of his books are pretty awesome to be honest. Great author. His series on the war of the roses is also excellent. It's the period that was a huge inspiration for Game of Thrones .

    Yep, I have a signed copy of Wolf of the Plains - such a great series!

    It was also surprisingly educational and led me to do my own research about the Mongols, especially the military general Subutai.

      If you like podcasts dan carlin does an amazing one does a Khan series they are more audiobooks than podcasts!
