I have been searching online to find out about what tourist visa my wife can be granted in the UK. She has the permanent resident partner visa 801 in Australia. I know Australian citizens automatically get a 6 month visa free entry on arrival. Would my wife also be eligible for this on a Philippines passport? I have done a lot of searching on Google and can't find an answer. Would be interested to see relevant links. Thanks for your help.

Hey I did this 8 years ago on foreign passport from Sydney, things might be different now
You will need to apply for visitor visa online
Then go to VFS visa application centre for biometrics etc and they will send the passport to Manila
Took about 3 weeks

Exemption/waiver is not valid on Phillipines passport, but they (UK) would take her visa status here (AU) into consideration when granting a visa.
Apply for visitor visa with UK and take along all Australian visa evidence to assist at interview stage.
