  • Sorry if this feels like a noob question, but is hardlex glass better than sapphire glass?

      Depends on use case.
      On the scale of hardness: diamond > sapphire > hardlex > acrylic.
      Toughness is another story, and for a tool watch or for a diver's watch it is better to have hardlex or acrylic (you can polish just as easy as you scratch it) so they won't shatter under impact.

      People still prefer sapphire over hardlex :)
