Lowest price to date directly through Steam according to SteamDB (unless I've missed something). Great game and community, highly recommend.

    Rock and stone!

Killer underated game, blast with friends and fun alone. Worth it at full price.

Underrated? There are 107,829 Steam reviews and it is ranked as "Overwhelmingly Positive" at 97%

      • +7

You heard the dwarf. 1 million reviews at 100% positive or bust.

      • Very few games make it to "overwhelmingly" on steam. If you see it, buy it.

    We're rich!

Also available on PC Game Pass, for those with a subscription.

Yes, true. Thanks. Definitely worth checking comments below too about inability to cross-play between Xbox and Steam version if that matters to you.

there is a way to transfer your saves though, just an unofficial way. But everyone has to play on the same platform

    • I got a $1 buy 1 month get 2 extra free so total of 3 months xbox game pass ultimate for $1 just turn off auto renew so you don't get charged when it runs out which for me is in 2022 September.

Last one for me was same 3 months pc game pass same offer in 2021 November.

Honestly all it means is now I can play AOE4 again if I want to.. I got Back 4 Blood from a humble bundle which was the other only game pass game I played.

      Get on it guys.

Yep, agreed those $1 deals are super good. Unfortunately I'm now gaming on GNU + Linux and can't do Game Pass through that. There's also something about owning the game.

Easily one of the most fun games I've played in the past few years, and the devs support the game really well, free content updates, etc. Well worth it!

  • +2

highly recommend, plenty of fun and doesn’t get stale
but keep in mind if you have it on steam, you can’t play with friends using pc game pass version

    For Carl!

Nearly 800 hours in and worth every penny. Such a great co-op game even with complete randoms.

  • +3

Good game, should be noted this game isn't cross-play with the Xbox game pass PC version, I found this out when I tried to play with my friend who has the Steam version. This only happened last week so this is perfect timing Ill just get it on steam.

  • Fantastic game, and the DLCs are only ever cosmetic, which means the base game gives you access to all content.

Having said that, I just buy all the DLC because the Devs are brilliant and I like supporting them.

  • Great game, excellent with friends.
Very easy to play coop with randoms too
    Great devs

  • This game has awesome gameplay, devs and community. The camaraderie between even random players of often wildly different experience levels is something that I think helps set it apart. Rock n stone forever!!

  • This is the poster child for the early access process. It launched day 1 as a semi polished game, was bug free (almost), ran well, had constant updates, great communication, listened to the community, and actually launched. Since then it's just kept coming.

One of the best games of all time, so replayable.

    • …Coffee Stain, the publisher, has form on this front. There's not many publishers doing it as well as Coffee Stain.

Actually I found this game not so fun. At this price I'd say it's worth checking out, but I found the magic wore off for me after 5-6 hours and playing with friends.

I hope people have fun with it, but definitely consider what games you already enjoy playing and compare with the genre/gameplay before pulling the trigger

    • +1

While the magic didn't wear off for me, I appreciate that it did for you.

What games are you into otherwise?

      • Personally I'm not big on FPS, with some exceptions where shooting is not the actual main mechanic.

All time fave: The Witness (first person, but a puzzle game)
Regularly play: Rocket League (guilty pleasure, mostly social rather than skillful play)
        Recent faves: Inscryption, Hades

Generally I'm more into open-world action/adventure, or strong narratives, like many big PlayStation titles (Horizon, The Last of Us, God of War, etc)
