The Good Guys Concierge $20 Store Credit

Hi,

I have bought 3 appliances from good guys and used to get $20 store credit. It is now stopped as I have not received any voucher after November. Does anyone else have similar issues?

  • I was just thinking the same earlier, it was meant to be $20 credit 3 times a year for 3 years but haven't had any more since around nov too, maybe they plan to send 3 in 1 week in dec lol.

  • I had the store credit for a year or so and then they stopped - I contacted them and they said that they were only payable for a certain number of years. Having said that during the 2 or so years I was receiving them they were sometimes erratic and I would contact them to see what was up and they would send through. Prob worth chasing.

  • I'd forgotten about that. I purchased that concierge stuff back in Jan 21. Never received a thing. Guess I should call them. Cheers.

      Bet they'll spout the 'you need to opt into marketing to receive the credit', they pulled that on me. I'm like ytf do I need to subscribe to spam when I PAID for the service.

      • One of the first questions they asked is "are you receiving our promotional emails". You where bang on. Thanks for the heads up. I put that potential fire out straight away. Apparently the marketing team will be looking into it.

    Do we just mention the store credit before paying?

  • Made our purchase in Oct '21, still nothing today. Contacted them late Feb to which they replied:

    With the information provided we can see that you have only recently purchase the appliance.
    Concierge $20 Store Credits are sent out sporadically during each year of coverage. Meaning you have not received one yet, but they are still on there way.
    Please stay tuned for you Concierge Credit!

  • I am on same boat. Only reason I got this crap concierge service is to extend warranty.
    14 months since purchase… and I got 1 $20 credit.
    calling them and asking for this is such joke and time waste. sighhh.

      • called them - after a week got a sms with $40 credit!
        they said it is up to date.
        let's see if next time i have follow up or not.

  • Even I got the voucher yesterday.. One is better than multiples.

  • FYI got an sms with $20 credit today as part of their sale

  • I signed up for concierge on 2 products, which for a year and a half I only received credits for 1 of the 2. I enquired, got nowhere and then got flat out ignored. All of a sudden they are coming through but missed out on 5x$20 credits. I’m told there was never an issue and treated like a moron. So convenient that it’s a pattern of redeemed / not redeemed and no phone or email record on my end of receiving the ones not redeemed. Great service!

    • Perhaps their SMS system is not working properly. I tried to sign up to their Store Cash multiple times but never got the activation SMS.

  • Received a Concierge credit last week, with an additional note that "Due to technical upgrade issues online, this credit will not work on the web or over the phone", and that the expiry date had been extended to the end of the month.
