Connecting FireStick and Soundbar to Projector

Hello Friends,

Looking for some solution while I research on the best way to connect a Soundbar and FireStick to a Projector.

4k Projector has 2 HDCP 2.2 Ports and 3.5mm Audio Out Jack.
Have a Soundbar that supports Full HD - 2 HDMI Ports, one with ARC
Amazon Firestick 4k Max

I can connect the FireStick to the Projector to see the 4k video. But the onboard sound is horrible. Tried connecting the Soundbar without any luck.

For now, connected the Firestick to the Soundbar HDMI Port and Connected a HDMI Cable from Soundbar HDMI ARC Port to Projector. Video and Audio works but as the Soundbar only supports Full HD, the video quality is not great.

So, is there a way to put the Firestick directly to the Project and use the Soundbar to full potential (Bluetooth audio is very bad)

Thanks.

  • Might be time to change media player? Even a 4K Xbox would give you the necessary functionality

  • +1

    Perhaps a 4k HDMI splitter?

Firestick in, 1 x out to soundbar and 1 x out to projectoer.

    • Thank You.. Will check it out..
But reading the AvForums tells me that there is no easy way.. Might have to live with that until I upgrade the Av Receiver.

  • How about using Hdmi connect to your project or and let the audio output from bluetooth?

    • I tried this.. The sound quality is very bad.. Should say horrible…

  • maybe worth trying if you got a USB DAC and a micro USB splitter
