Smart TV 40" Suggestions for Budget of $300

I am looking at buying a second TV for the bedroom possibly 40 inch and budget $300.

Searches around and found Ffalcon, Blaupunkt. But both have 2.2 ratings on product reviews. I am looking for a Smart TV to stream Netflix, Prime.

What has been your experience with Ffalcon or Blaupunkt? Are there any other recommendations for the above budget. I looked at FB market as well. Couldn’t find ones that have good reviews.

40" I'd look at marketplace etc for at least a Hisense

    Or even check cash converters

  • I have a few Soniqs and they are great. They used to be sold at JB, but not anymore.

I have a 65" as well as 2 x 42"s and they are great. Might not have the additional options like Netflix or Prime, but a Google TV solves that problem and gives you heaps more. It is what I've done on my 65".

we just use a old ps4 for the smarts, i find the smart stuff in TV's suck esp at the lower end of the scale. chrome cast may be worth looking at also.

But on your budget i suspect just stay on FB market place and grap what comes up.

Cheap and 5 star rating are not going to happen.

I have recently bought the Ffalcon 4K HDR 50" one for my Mother in law and for the price it's actually pretty bloody decent once you tune it ! change it to movie mode and turn off all the processing and it's actually pretty decent for what I paid for it $379 and this is coming from a guy who owns a 77C1

  • The EKO 40 inch from Big W goes on sale to $299 occasionally:

It's nothing special, but works fine in a teenagers bedroom (watches Netflix/Youtube wirelessly, plays Xbox and Switch on it)!

  • The Bauhn from Aldi wasn't too bad.

  • I have a choice subscription. It rates the 32-inch Samsung UA32T5300AW as the best for a retail of $545. Maybe check to see if can get one for your budget?
Nothing at all comes up when I set it to $300-$500 and 40 inch.
