Corsair T3 RUSH Gaming Chair - Charcoal $399 (Normally $499) + Delivery @ PLE Computers

50

Price drop for Corsair T3 gaming chair (Charcoal color only). Overall quite positive reviews on YouTube and a decent buy @399. I haven't used one personally so not sure if the cushion is on par with SecretLabs but other functions like full recline is same as SL.

Also in time for '21 tax claim.

Delivery of $57.66 to Brisbane reduces the deal too much for me… And looking for a nice office chair at the moment.

  • wow people with short legs going to tip over if they lean that far back in the chair.

  • Own one of these bad Bois. Definitely worth the money.

"Gaming" chairs are not good for your posture. You're better off getting a proper office chair, your back will thank you.

This chair actually has very good support and is way more comfortable than most office chairs

      • you need to compare office chairs at the same price point. $400 on a gaming chair that is pushing your shoulders forward, has a stupid cushion that gives makes you sit poorly is not "good support"
All gaming chairs are ultimately the same and terrible/not worth the money.

If you care about your posture and sit in your chair for hours at a time, look at buying a 2nd hand Herman Miller Mirra or Aeron or from other good brands, human scale, steelcase etc.

        • Not really sure you can compare a second hand office chair to a brand new gaming chair. Not saying Herman Miller isn’t great but their low end chairs start at $1000. Also idk why you’re calling a lumbar support stupid when it’s the point you are trying to argue for.

          • @firejack: why can't you compare them? they're both chairs? HM Mirra 2nd hand is around 350-400.

You're trying to justify that a seat that resembles a car bucket seat is ergonomically the same as sitting at a desk.

            • @rainbowunicorn: Because when you compare the AirPods max to the WH1000 M5 or QC30s you don’t say it’s in the same price range because you can buy it second hand.

    • Any examples?

  • Delivery to Canberra $63.55 yeah I'll pass

Got one of these for $389 from PLE almost a year ago. Still going strong

    • +3

For $400 I expect it going strong after a few years

      • The material is quite sturdy if anything it’s always the gas strut that goes out first. Easily replaceable

I suspect the Ergohuman chairs would be more comfortable for around the same price

gaming chair bad. tech jesus said so

Even at this price, still wary of gaming chairs.

Safer bet would be an ergo.. ergoduke? The thicc one.

Budget failing that, the 'Korean officechair' has saved my back from leather executive chairs and gaming chairs alike.

Was a recommendation from one of my university lecturers, unironically used more than their teachings nowadays haha.

Just me or do most office chairs offer very little in the way of neck support ?

      • Not just you, had to hunt down models with headrests that didn't tip the chair's balance when leaned into.

  • Not a fan of gaming chairs especially the side supports of the base.

I tend to sometimes like to cross both legs up and that would get in the way.

I blame my Asian heritage for that.

    • I sit cross legged in mine all the time without an issue but it depends on the chair
