Sadly, one of the last times I tried to play this, there weren't any players to fill games.
Had the same experience on PC. Haven't tried to see if console is any better since early 2021.
Really, really enjoyable game. I would hope for a Battlefront 3, but it seems unlikely.
This was free on EPIC and it should be free. Hardly any players online for multiplayer.
I remember that period when it was free, so many players on PC servers it was like launch week all over again.
Yeah I've noticed it doesn't even let you start a multiplayer or coop game unless the map is full of (human) players. Why not allow it to be filled with bots so you can at least play?

Worth noting this was unplayable due to hackers at the start of the year. Not sure if this has been fixed
