Great headphones but relatively poor built quality

Yeah I agree on both. I had a pair and didn’t like the quality and comfort. Sold it within a week.

I agree that they feel a bit cheap. But i've been using mine daily for a couple months and i love the comfort of these. And i my opinion they sound amazing. I've been through a few different headphones over the years and these are my end game. I could probably find something better but i think i'd have to spend close to $500 to do that.

        • I’ve got my first decent pair second hand from Stereonet, $450 for the HD700. It’s my daily for work and games. Hands down for comfort and sound in comparison to my other pair(s).

Coming from a pair of Bower Wilkins PX (insane clamp force), the comfort info the HD560s are amazing!

They sound great too for me, very happy with them

Don't forget to tag the product so people can see deal history. It's been this price for most of this month.

It's a solid headphone if competitive gaming isn't a focus for you, and you have no intention of getting a good amp & DAC.

    • The 560S are one of my favourites for FPS gaming, but I prefer the Sundara. The soundstage and imaging sound great to me on those. The HD6XX on the other hand are useless for gaming.

      • None of them reach beyond above average for imaging, but I would place them in the same order you've written them in that respect. 6XX images well enough for videos and casual gaming with a class-A amp (or class-A like).

  • Just my five cents. Exchanged my 560S for the HD600. For me, the 560 is too peaky in the treble and is artificially detailed. The midrange is really flat though and has good bass extension. There is some bass rumble but not a lot of bass punch. The HD600 is perfect for me in terms of tonality and timbre and scales well with higher end amps.
