I have this bad boy and honestly I cannot recommend it enough. It is used CONSIDERABLY more than our oven now as it just does such a stellar job. It also does chips to perfection with the rotisserie basket. If you are on the fence about an air fryer, this is the one to get. I was a skeptic about "the church of the air fryer" until being given this for Christmas and am now a total convert.

    • the church of the air fryer

      How do I join?

      • A fan forced oven is designed to distribute the heat evenly throughout the oven while a air fryer actually alters the cooking process.

        To quote a random websource.

If your oven is blowing air the way it’s supposed to, you’ll increase quality and decrease waste. Four things to keep in mind:

An increase in air velocity causes an increase in the apparent heat transfer coefficient, convective heat flux.
Velocity of the circulating air influences baking time.
Weight loss, browning, and firmness of baked product can be increased by increasing air velocity.
Cohesiveness and product volume are unaffected by air velocity.

        • Not sure if you're implying an oven should be better. I just know that the leg of pork I did in this thing was 10/10, crackling like nothing I've got from the oven. For quick frozen nuggets/tenders/chips you wouldn't consider using the oven. Last night we did fresh tenderloins in sauce. Super crispy and evenly cooked. Literally the only reason I use the oven nowadays is if it doesn't fit in the air fryer.

This also does dehydration so am going to have a crack at jerky. My oven won't turn off after a set time.

    • I second this.
I “upgraded” from the Phillips XXL, I say upgraded because they both cook well but this design is infinitely better to keep clean and maintain.
They also give you extra shelves.

Our Phillips basket became unserviceable after about 2-3 years and a replacement wasn’t available.

  • 10litres seems too small. We have a no name 23l one and fits a medium-sized roast pork or lamb leg nicely.

Was only about $130 delivered via Catch as well

    • I always hear these air fryers are too small. They are not! The big benefit of these devices is lower energy use - the bigger you make them the more energy you use again. When I need space I can use my regular oven to make a roast pork. A 4l one is perfect for me - this one is way too big for me.

So any too small / too big comment makes no sense as it depends on your useprofile.

  • This or the Breville air fryer https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/254709110153? Any thoughts guys..

Depends on your needs. No where near the same price range….

  • How is this for keeping bbq meat warm/hot. Overkill?

  • I concur with @Hinee.

Had this since lockdown, and use it on a daily basis. It's quite flexible in terms of the tray arrangements (more useful that the typical shape).

Hands down the best kitchen appliance we use. Liked it so much, bought 2 last time.

    • Can it take a small/medium pizza tray, say 25cm?

Screw it, purchased my first air fryer. Thanks OP.
