      Hi I'm new to Switch. When you say physical copy, are you talking about the cartridge? So Switch can play cartridges that slot into the unit, and also downloaded games like this version? Are cartridge versions generally more expensive than digital versions? This looks like a big file at 8GB, is there anyway to increase the storage capacity? Thanks for any info for this noob who just got his Switch delivered today

        Yes, to all your questions.
        You'll generally find physical copies (cartridges) are more expensive than digital. Sometimes they might even be the same price (nonsensical but hey that's business).

        You can upgrade the memory by buying a micro SD card. From memory you want a card with fast data transfer speed, rather than regular speed. If there's no hurry, wait until Amazon Prime sales. I just checked my Switch, I'm using a Samsung Evo Select 256GB (I think this has fast data transfer, I hope). 256GB is plenty of room for games/saves for me.

    i had this game on PS3, and everytime it would freeze, and the data would corrupt, when you get to a stage of the game. I played it so many times thinking that "maybe this time it won't crash"

      how well? isn’t it capped at 30fps? 33ms frame time is absolute crap for a racing game

    Can someone share the experience of this game on Switch? Hope it's the same story on FIFA which just poorly made on Switch. I am keen to purchase one if this is a good one comparing to PS3 version. That was a lot of fun on PS3. Thank you

      I've only played it for a couple hours but I was impressed with how well it ran and didn't have any issues with the game lagging or crashing, crashed my car plenty of times though

    Still trying to understand the Switch but can you play 2 player at home? When you say 2-8 players online does that have to be with a membership?

      yeah you need a membership.. only some (partial) games offer online for free i.e. tetris 99, bomberman

      Love it, I want it for me as I know the kids won’t play and I loved it back in the day but can’t bring myself to spend a whopping $12 ha ha

    Hi all, does this game on Switch has no more cops chasing mode eg you are on night race and cops could chase you. I played this on PS3 long long time ago and remembered that this mode was so fun. I bought it few hours and played several rounds racing but cannot find it.

    I loved this game before but can’t bring myself to buy it a third time now lol.

    I remember enjoying it on ps3, and then buying the remaster…

    Ps. Am I the only one who found those missions where you have to drive without hitting any obstacles really frustrating?
